Samsung Galaxy S5 A Step More!

Samsung announced the fifth generation of the Galaxy S series, the Galaxy S5, which, the company claims, combines an advanced camera, the fast network connectivity, dedicated fitness tools and device protection features. Here are its top features.

  1.       Its new Selective Focus feature allows users to focus on a specific area of an object while simultaneously blurring out the background. The phone is equipped with a 16 megapixel camera.
  2.       The S5 has a fingerprint scanner on the home button, which can be used to protect data and provide security credentials in a swipe.
  3.       The Galaxy S5 is resistant to sweat, rain, liquids, sand and dust.
  4.       Galaxy S5 is the first smart phone with a built-in Heart Rate Sensor which enables you to measure your heart rate directly on your phone. You can now check your heart rate at any time of the day and manage your condition accordingly, said Samsung.
  5.       According to Samsung, the Download Booster technology lets users use the LTE and WiFi simultaneously, giving them an unrivaled network experience. When you need to download files in a hurry, turn on the LTE and Wi-Fi together.
  6.      The Galaxy S5, successor to the Galaxy S4, features a perforated pattern on the back cover. It comes in four colours - charcoal Black, shimmery White, electric Blue and copper Gold.
  7.      It runs the latest Android OS - Android 4.4.2 KitKat
  8.     It has a 5.1" FHD Super AMOLED (1920 x 1080) and is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core application processor.
  9.       Its Ultra Power Saving Mode turns the display to black and white, and shuts down all unnecessary features to minimise the battery consumption.

"Voice Call Support" A New Feature In WhatsApp

What have voice call feature in future:
The world's biggest messaging service WhatsApp will add voice calls in the second quarter of this year as chief executive Jan Koum said on Monday.

Already many competitors South Korea’s Kakao Talk and China’s WeChat have punched a hole in telecom operators in recent years by offering a free alternative to text messaging.

The news that the most powerful of them was adding voice calls to its service will likely be seen as worrying for telecom operators globally, which got about $120 billion from text messaging last year, according to market researcher Ovum.

In Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Monday, Koum said, "We are driven by the mission that people should be able to stay in touch anywhere and affordably. Our goal is to be on every mobile phone in the world”.

Koum said WhatsApp's acquisition by Facebook would not alter his roadmap to develop the product to reach the next 1 billion users. No advertising will added to the service, he said.

WhatsApp's Koum also sought to cast himself as a partner to telecom operators and not simply a competitor. He announced a partnership with KPN's E-Plus under which it will launch a WhatsApp branded mobile service in Germany.

"We are working with carriers in established markets to bring value to end users," he said

Finally Nokia Has Released Android Phone

Nokia has launched three new smart phones that run on Android operating system, marking a surprising move with Microsoft’s Windows Phone.

Nokia New Android Smart Phone

The new X, X+ and XL smart phones are a brand new family of Nokia Android devices, to again boost a finished company since committing completely to Microsoft’s Windows Phone in 2011. The new Android-based smart phones are aimed at developing and budget markets. While they run Android software like many other smart phones, including the Samsung Google and others, it is unlike Google’s Android, instead resembling Windows Phone with Microsoft’s applications and services.

“We’re bringing all our expertise to bear to connect the next billion people to the internet. The Nokia X family will introduce the next billion people to Microsoft and act as a feeder system for our Lumia smart phones,” said the Nokia chief executive, Stephen Elop, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

New Feature In Whats App "Hide Last Seen"

The popular mobile messaging application WhatsApp, which is acquired by Facebook, has included a new feature - the ability to hide the 'Last Seen' timestamp of a user.

Until “Whats App” already have blocking feature so that we can block any contact but now he give another feature for their users which desired.

This feature was available only on WhatsApp for iPhone and was a much desired by many on other platforms who do not want to display to other users information about when they last used the app.
Users can now choose if they want to display their last seen status to everyone, only to their contacts or to nobody. If you wish to get the new privacy features on WhatsApp, go to the WhatsApp official website and download the Android app from there. You might have to change your Android security setting before able to install this.

Hiding WhatsApp 'last seen at..' timestamp will be much relief to the users who always come under the line of fire for being online for too late night rather wee hours.
